E-hailing vehicle requirements
Check whether your car meets the current Cape Town platform standards before submitting it to our fleet.
Year
2010 or newer for standard cars. 2014+ for 7-seaters and 2015+ for comfort categories.
Seats & doors
Minimum 4 doors and 5 seatbelts. 7-seater models must have seating for seven.
Condition
Roadworthy, mechanically sound, clean inside and out, with legal tyres and working aircon.
Documents
Registration certificate, roadworthy certificate, ID, proof of address and bank details.

These are the most common categories accepted on e-hailing platforms in Cape Town. Exact availability depends on current platform rules and our fleet needs.

Condition standards
- Valid roadworthy certificate.
- No major accident damage or unresolved structural repairs.
- All lights, brakes, wipers and indicators in working order.
- Tyres with legal tread depth and matching size.
- Working air conditioning.
- Clean interior and exterior, free of strong odours or damage.
- Valid licence disc and no outstanding traffic fines.
- Factory-fitted or approved modifications only.
Documents needed
- Vehicle registration certificate.
- Roadworthy certificate.
- Copy of the owner's ID.
- Proof of address.
- Bank details for weekly payouts.
- Recent service history (preferred).
